• CineMechanics, Inc. hosts a standing room only RED Camera Workshop for IFP North. Workshop covered the RED camera system, hardware, RED Assist, post as well as the RED Camera systems offered by CineMechanics. More workshops dates will be added. Check with IFP for details.
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc invited to Minneapolis College of Art and Design to host a RED camera workshop for the Film Video Department.
  
  
• Abel Cine Tech of New York and CineMechanics team up to host a Phantom HD workshop for local Cinematographers and Directors. The Phantom HD camera system and post process was demonstrated as well as opportunities to shoot various high speed tests. Mitch Gross lead the workshop. • Best Buy Company shoots RED with CineMechanics cameras for their latest round of national spots. Shooting consisted of 5 days of greenscreen shooting and 5 days of shooting 35mm for background plates. Post and color grading handled by Splice Here and Crash & Sue's.
  
  
• Periscope shoots RED for viral campaign titled the Zangief Chronicles. Director Quan Haong. Drive Thru Editorial handles the post.
  
  
• Rap Artist POS shoots 6 music videos in 6 days on RED. Post handled by various local post houses. Directors include Bo Hakkala, Todd Cobrey, Brady Kiernan, Scott Ferril and Maria Juranic.
  
  
• Drive Thru Productions shoots commercials for Rappala, Sacred Heart Hospitals, Buffalo Wild Wings, Habitat for Humanity all on the RED camera system. CineMechanics handles RED cameras on set. Post all handled through Drive Thru Editorial.
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc. received their 2nd RED outfitted with the popular P&S Technic Interchangable Lens Mount system. This mount allows the opportunity to expand the users lens choices to use PL, Nikon, Canon, B4, Hasselblad, Leice mounted lenses. All mounts easily switchable in the field.
  
  
• Orange Filmworks shoots RED on location for Lone Butte Casinos in Arizona. Marco Baca directs. Cameras and RED tech support provided by CineMechanics. Post handle by Spotnik. DP Mike Welckle.
  
  
• Minnesota Twins commercial shot by Periscope on RED cameras provided by CineMechanics. RED Assist cart used on set to provide rough edits during shot.
  
  
• Milwaukee based Purple Onion shoots six health care spots on location with RED. Traveling to Austin, TX and Owenboro, KY. Project was shoot by D.P. Joe Picciolo and Directed by Steve Farr. RED camera package, Ziess Primes and Optimo Zooms provided by North American Camera. Post handle by Civilian Edit.
  
  
• Twist Films shoots 2nd rounds of spots for 3M shot on RED. Directed by Rich Michell.
  
  
• Drive Thru Productions shoots Harley Davidson spots on RED in LA.
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc. provides RED camera package and RED tech support for Dublin Productions commercial shoot for American Humane Association. Edit done on AVID by Schnitt Edit in Minneapolis. File conversions to AVID handled by Drive Thru productions.
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc provides RED camera and RED tech support for Evergreen Pictures commercial shoot for Black Bear Casino. Director Roger Sackett. DP Mike Welckle. Edit and color correction done at Splice Here. Colorist Michael Sandness.
  
  
• "Into Temptation" premiers feature film shot on RED. Patrick Coyle director. David Doyle DP. Rent The Sky Films edits and supervises post for the film. Color transfer done at Local Hero in LA.
  
  
• Buck Holzemer Productions shoots on RED for Time Warner Cable and Gillete Children's Hospitals.
  
  
• Twist Films shoots RED for web based greenscreen project for the United Health Group. Chris Stocksmith directs. CineMechanics, Inc provides camera package.
  
  
• Fischer Edit posts two RED projects. First project is a movie trailer shot on RED with trailer edit completed in house by Katie Carpenter. Second is Target Corporation.
  
  
• Robert Medcraft Productions shoots with the RED camera for St. Judes Medical devices. Post handled through Motion 504.
