Local RED News:

• Crew, Craft and Equipment EXPO 2008 was a great success! Thanks to all who attened and participated and help put the event together. The EXPO which focuses on the services provided by the independent tradespeople in the Minnesota film and video community was held at Studio 1414 on July 14th. Many industry professionals showed of there skills and wares to local  producers, directors, directors of photography and ad agency professional. Please join us next year!
  
  
• Milwaukee based Purple Onion shoots six health care spots on location with RED. Traveling to Austin, TX and Owenboro, KY. Project was shoot by D.P. Joe Picciolo and Directed by Steve Farr. RED camera package, Ziess Primes and Optimo Zooms provided by North American Camera. Post handle by Civilian Edit.
  
  
• Twist Films shoots 2nd rounds of spots for 3M shot on RED. Directed by Rich Michell. 
  
  
• Drive Thru Productions shoots Harley Davidson spots on RED in LA.
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc. provides RED camera package and RED tech support for Dublin Productions commercial shoot for American Humane Association. Edit done on AVID by Schnitt Edit  in Minneapolis. File conversions handles by Drive Thru productions.  
  
  
• CineMechanics, Inc provides RED camera and RED tech support for Evergreen Pictures commercial shoot for Black Bear Casino. Director Roger Sacket. DP Mike Welckle. Edit and color correction done at Splice Here. Colorist Michael Sandness.
  
  
• "Into Temptation" wraps feature film shot on RED. Patrick Coyle director. David Doyle DP. Rent The Sky Films will edit the film.
  
  
• Buck Holzemer Productions shoots on RED for Time Warner Cable. 
  
  
• Twist Films shoots RED for web based green screen project for the United Health Group. Chris Stocksmith directs. CineMechanics, Inc provides camera package. Project shot on stage at Cinequipt.

• Independent feature film "Into Temptation" films in Minneapolis with RED. Directed by Patrick Coyle. Director of Photography David Doyle. Camera package provided by Cinequipt.
  
  

• "Winning Favor" a feature film being shot June 11 through July 11 in the Orange City, Iowa chooses RED for all principle photography. Northwestern College Professor Jamey Durham, who directed the award-winning film "The Prairie Pirates," will be directing.

• Fischer Edit posts two RED projects. First project is a movie trailer shot on RED with trailer edit completed in house by Katie Carpenter. Second is Target Corporation broadcast spot shot on RED to be transcoded to HDCAM SR from camera.
  
  
• Robert Medcraft Productions shoots with the RED camera for St. Judes Medical devices. Post handled through Motion 504.
  
  
• Twist Films to shoot RED for 3M broadcast commercial.
